Ok- I’ve been back for nearly 2 weeks. I’ve reacclimatised to this lovely weather - I especially love the fact that the sun hasn’t shone at all for 3 days…. *grumble*
ANYWAY- RACES!
I am absolutely terrified for the next month or so of running.
Here is how it is looking:
Bookham 10K - Sunday 5th February
A nice 10K in the hills of Surrey to get me back into the swing of things. There will be Mud!
Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon - Sunday 19th February
A super hilly road course through the historic streets of Tunbridge Wells. (I’m just glad it’s still two weeks away at the moment- time to get those miles up!)
Sussex Maverick - 15 Miles Option- Saturday 25th Feb
The longest race I have ever signed up to do. I’ve never ran more than a half Marathon. Terrified! At least it’s on home turf on the beautiful South Downs. Pray for good weather. AND it’s on a Saturday which means I will have the whole of Sunday to recover. Phew.
The Stenying Stinger - Sunday 5th March
One of the best races I have ever ran. Some Humungous climbs but beautiful views. Last year it was a glorious winters day and I loved every minute of it (apart from the ankle twist towards the end).
Let’s see what this year has in store
The Moyleman Marathon (Relay) - Sunday 12th March
Alex and I are teaming up to run a Marathon distance race between us.
Go Team Tortoise and the Hare.
So there we are- that is a total of 60 Miles to be ran in the next month.
Feet don’t fail me now.
